The society is delighted to confirm the appoiontment of Laura Baynton to the board of trustees.

"I am really delighted to have become a trustee of the Griffins Society. I've had a long-held passion for trying to understand and improve the criminal justice system, and it's a real honour to be involved in the inspiring work of the Griffins Society and its Fellows. There is so much about the women's justice system which isn't working, and I think that the Griffins approach of empowering practitioners working within the system to bring together evidence and their own insights to find solutions is hugely powerful and has potential to bring about transformative changes. I very much hope that I can bring my experience and enthusiasm to add value as a Trustee and I look forward to getting involved."
